Displays blog articles on search

[ad_1]

Hi,

Thanks for your message. This is probably happening because your home page is using the Shortcode of type “Search Form” rather than the apposite widget/block of type “Search Form”. Shortcodes should be used on any page of your website except the home page, or the URL routing functions will not work if the booking process is started from the homepage post ID, that has got no slug in the URL.

Our suggestion is to publish the legacy widget “Search Form” in the home page, or if your Theme supports the new Gutenberg blocks, you can publish the apposite block of type “Search Form”. Widgets and Blocks share the same settings, and unlike Shortcodes, they allow you to select the landing page URL from which the booking process should start, through an apposite setting. This will be the action attribute of your booking form, and it should point to a page using a Shortcode of VikRentCar. This way your homepage search form will correctly route the URL of the booking process.

We hope this helps!
