Wanted to share some positive news around here this week, Elegant Themes released Divi 5 public alpha for all.
(can't post a link to their site but you're smart, I believe in you)
ETA: It's been rebuilt for speed and reduced bloat. For those of you wondering if it's still a mess.

Lol, How? Divi, Elementor, Astra, or any other crappy snake oil selling site builder still even being a thing at all is never good news.
It’s 2024 – have they fixed the notorious code bloat yet in this version?
Edit: Looks like a maybe – they rebuilt it from the ground up apparently.
I used to be a big fan of Divi, but now Bricks is all I use. The bloat in that editor is unbearable.
No one is mentioning Generate Press… Is it reliable ?
Just tested the Divi 5 alpha and… surprisingly, it’s still complete garbage. Added a single heading (hey, great that this works now!) and looked at the code. A simple <h1> tag is wrapped in several divs. Enough to know that Divi 5 is the same garbage as before.
Divi is slightly above elementor, but still C tier for builders. If you’re in builder land then you just choose Bricks—and it’s not even a tough choice.
Sorry you’re stuck with Divi, OP.
