Do all unique pages need templates?

[ad_1]

I am very VERY new to wordpress. I’m making a wedding website with 4 pages (Photos, Reception, Our Story, Registry) with the “our story” page being the landing page. Each page is meant to be designed completely different from the other. I am not using any “post” pages.

My question is: is each page basically meant to get it’s own “template”? Because I’ve noticed when I add content to each page in the “edit page” section of wordpress, the only thing that shows up on the final website is the content from the template assigned to the page. Any images, headers, etc added through “edit page” do not appear.

(For context I am using the “Ona” Theme)
