I have know searched for a few days But don’t find any good solutions. The goal is to show only the final amount of expenditures, and don’t want to show everything else.
Have seen an option to insert a code into functions.php. But, wanted to see if anyone had any easier solutions for one who is not that tech savy.

You may be able to do this with SheetDB, but the free account is limited to 500 requests per month.
It looks like it pulls in a full row, though, so you may want to make a single sheet that’s 1 column x 1 row that just pulls the value from the sheet where the value is generated.
You could try this…
Make a new sheet in the workbook and link the cell you want shown. Then change the view on that sheet to only show the one cell. When you embed the sheet on your site, you can then manipulate the iFrame to the desired size.
