Do I have to install WordPress to get full access? Or can I just log in through my browser?

WordPress newbie here. I make websites for people and I’ve only used wix which I love. But I have a client who wants me to redesign her website through WordPress so I’ve just started learning it. I see people talk about how WordPress is drag and drop but I’m not able to do that. I was wondering if it’s because I didn’t install WordPress on my computer, she gave me her login info and I just logged into it through my browser?

  1. The admin interface is browser based.
