Hi @cutu234,
Here’s more information regarding the merge: https://wpshowposts.com/weve-made-the-decision-to-merge-wp-show-posts-with-generateblocks/
WPSP is now implemented as a Block usable through the Gutenberg Editor with GenerateBlocks.
With this said, no, it’s not possible. You’ll need to use the Gutenberg Block editor to use GenerateBlocks’ Query Loop Block.

Thanks Fernando! That’s a sad day for me. 🙂 I am a huge fan of WP Show posts and I hate almost everything about the Gutenberg editor. So, I could activate Gutenberg for specific pages and use GB for custom queries? I could live with that.
Yes, that’s possible. If you have GP Premium, you can use a Block Element and hook the Query Loop anywhere through that. In that way, you want have to enable it through other pages/posts. You just need to enable it for the Block Element.
You can also opt to still use WPSP though we no longer support it. But, it still works.
I do use GP Premium. This sounds like a very elegant solution. I will check it out.
While I absolutely trust your great team, I usually don’t use plugins that are not longer supported. I’m sure WPSP will work for many years to come, but this is not best practice, in my opinion. Anyway, thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
And like always: Awesome support! Thank you very much!
