Hello, I built a custom theme on WordPress.org and planned to only use .org. The only plugin I’m using is WooCommerce, but it’s for a digital subscription company and I’m going to need to use WooCommerce subscriptions to manage customers and orders.
Do I need to have a WordPress.com plan to buy the plugin? I believe the answer is yes. I’m hoping there’s a way around it. It really really blows to have to spend $240 for the plan and then $279 for the plugin.
I should add that $240 is for the business plan (to be able to use plugins) and that I’m using stripe for payment processing. Any input is much appreciated — thank you in advance.
If your site is not hosted at wordpress.com, you need this
https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/
and from there look at their paid add-ons.
No wordpress.com plan needed.
