I am a bit torn, because this is a first of its kind project not for a client but for me
I am working on an advocacy group, but the subject is very data driven, and the audience are Technology people.
Do you think presenting more than 6 tables on the front page alone is bad design ?
Because the way, I want to do it.
is give pretty much all information they need to become members or not. Just from looking at front page.
Initially I was going to present At least 10 tables, but some tables are not that critical. Where I will sum up the number of xyz and then put a link to a url where they can look at it.
Are there any guidelines for how long a front page should be ?
While I was browsing the big name charities/non-profits, even the biggest names, it’s like a link game, one link to a page where there is another link to yet another page.
