Do you use any sort of Pop-up plugin for your clients ?

What Pop-up plugins do you use ? And why do you use them ?
I obviously have my favorites, and my list.
But I want to see what others are using ?

What I don't understand about pop-ups is people say you should Never use them.
Then I also hear, Pop-ups are very very effective in having a successful WordPress site to grow.
