OK, I got blind-eyed when I made the first payment for the pro plan and I didn’t notice if there was any auto-renewal option, however, it turned out there was. I got an email saying I had paid 99 USD for a renewal, I hurried to ask for a refund and got informed that they didn’t have that refund policy on the renewal, what kind of policy is that? Is that even legal?
FUCK ELEMENTOR PRO!

I’ll start by saying I’m not a fan of Elementor.
The thing is, Elementor Pro and many other premium plugins/themes are just a bunch of files. It’s too easy for someone to purchase, download the files, ask for a refund, but continue to use the plugin.
Even copying the files from another website, or downloading it from a 3rd party, is too easy to do and isn’t technically illegal.
So it’s common for them to not offer refunds; it’s too easy to abuse. It’s not fair for sure, but if I rely on this revenue to pay my bills, I’d do the same thing.
Renewal was pretty clearly stated when I signed up for pro this year. I declined.
Tell them you don’t want to renew and the go to your bank and tell them your story to decline the charge.
Next time, use a throwaway card like a Venmo account visa.
They always send me alert 2 or 3 times before renewal, and how to delete it.
