Apologies that this might be pretty vague.
Does anyone remember the name of an all-in-one marketing/website platform that was built of various components of WP Core and some plugins that a company grey labeled? I think between 2010
– 2015 is when I noticed it.
It was an early version of one of the platforms pretty common nowadays that I believe handled things like:
Blog/page content
Newsletter list
Restricted content
Subscription management
Coursework Dripping
Etc.
It was popular at a time when online gurus in various genres were selling their courseware with a super long one pager website with selling point after selling point. Course price would be 299 USD at the top of the page and like 59 USD by the CTA at the bottom.
Reason I’m asking is simply because it’s driving me crazy! I was telling my business partner such a platform existed and she thinks I’m on crack.
I don’t think it’s around now… Or at least I can’t find it. I remember it being at least slightly controversial at the time as essentially someone had just debranded a bunch of WP software, packaged it all up in an easy to use and stripped out wp-admin and sold a subscription to it all as a course/content selling platform.
Really appreciate if anyone remembers anything along this line, or can confirm I am in fact on crack!
