Does Parent Theme Update Removes Redis?

Hi I am using a Parent theme only (no child theme) and I do not do any changes to functions and php files.

The only thing I did: I configured wpconfig.php file to install Redis Object Cache.

If I update theme will I need to install Redis again? Will the update remove Redis from my site?
