Does removing a WordPress plugin also remove all data related to the plugin?

[ad_1]

I am thinking of re-optimizing my website and switching to GeneratePress theme. In that process, I’d love to debloat and while I don’t have a ton of active plugins, I have tried quite a few of them and deleted them when not needed.

My question is when you delete a plugin, does it remove all bits to debloat your site? Or do bits and pieces stick around? And if these pieces stick around, what’s the best way of cleaning it all up? Since I will be developing on a staging site, I don’t mind exporting specific data which are all my posts, media and data related to plugins that I am using (RankMath, Lasso etc.)
