Does the “Instantly lockout specific usernames” support wildcards?

[ad_1]

In the User Security tab, there’s an option labelled “Instantly lockout specific usernames:” with a textbox in which you can type usernames to be blocked by default. Does this function support wildcards? I get a lot of hits from similar usernames, many beginning with the same few characters. It would be less hassle to just use “abc*” instead of adding each variation.

Thanks for your help!
