Does this mean that I can just transfer all my domains and don’t pay for a full year?

Sorry if this is not the right place to ask, but I saw this today “Coming from Google Domains? Transfer here and we’ll pay for an extra year of registration.” ([https://wordpress.com/domains/]).

So if I transfer from Google Domains, I won’t have to pay? I don’t have WordPress on all of them, some are just empty for now.

Has anyone tried this? Any fine print?
