Hi guys, I recently bought a domain when trying out WordPress.com ($8 month) Online I started seeing the advantages of WordPress.org. I still have not design or chosen any layout, so the website is blank. I was wondering, since I bought the domain, can I just move over to WordPress.org?

There’s no such thing as moving over to [WordPress.org](https://WordPress.org). It’s simply the location of the open source CMS for you to download. Most decent web hosts will have a one-click installer type of setup to easily get WordPress installed.
You need to find a web host, and then just point your existing domain (on [WordPress.com](https://WordPress.com)) towards the server you set up on the new host. DO NOT cancel your domain on [WordPress.com](https://WordPress.com), you won’t be able to buy it again until it becomes available to purchase again.
You’ll need to get hosting for it, and point the domain elsewhere. But before you even worry about that, download localWP and get a feel for WordPress. You can dev all you like. In 60 days or so, move your domain to a different registrar after the domain lock is up.

Yes you have a domain now you will need hosting and you can i install and use WordPress to it’s full potential.
Just get a host you like (knownhost, hostgator, etc) and point your domain’s nameservers to whatever values that host gives you:

[WordPress.com](http://WordPress.com) is a fine domain registrar even if you aren’t interested in hosting your site with them.
