Somebody I’m working with bought the domain on go daddy (she bought the domain for the client) .
I made the site and decided to add the domain later.
I’m fairly new to all this.
So how do I add this domain now? Since this person had bought domain does this make it more complex?
I’m freaking lost.

You need webspace first so upload your website to a website service provider like hostgator, you then need to add the websites servers providers nameservers address to your domain nameservers that the other person has brought.
If done correctly when someone types in the domain address they will be passed over to where you have uploaded the site to.
