‘Download’ a WP site?

(Apologies if this has been covered, but I have been unable to find a solution.)

First, what I want to do is ‘above board’ , I’m simply trying to automate an otherwise tedious, manual process.

I access a ‘course’ type site that sits behind a WP login page, that has hundreds of sub pages, with many ‘assets’ which I can manually ‘save as’ (MP4, PDF , MP3). (Most of these files are actually stored on AmazonAWS.com)

I’d like to process through the site, and automate the download of all the files available for download. I’ve tried with HTTrack, but it seems I am unable to get through the login page, (which I have valid credentials for).

The sticking point seems to be the browser has a valid authenticated session, but the WINHTTrack doesn’t. Tried to ‘capture url’ etc, no success.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any ideas or solutions?
