You mean that you want to have a dropdown with checkboxes? Or you want to have such fold unfold filters but just with checkboxes?
In the first case, you need to make custom dropdowns with checkboxes as there is no such feature out of the box. In the second case, all you need to do is use checkboxes from the filter set filter area settings.
