I’m struggling to understand wordpress customising.
When i go to my domain link this is my landing page which i edited via appearance > themes > customise. This is the homepage I like.
However when i go to edit the homepage (which is set as home page in readings settings)
via pages > edit
this page layout is like this
editing this page changes nothing on my landing page and i dont get what its even for if my landing page i made in the customiser.

can someone please help explain the differences and help me understand.
