Editor Credit/ Editor Page?

I co-run a small WordPress blog/website, which produces weekly articles covering a particular sports team. As you can imagine 99% of the sites contents are “posts”.

The site has two writers/authors, myself included, as well as an editor who does not write or author their own posts. WordPress of course has built-in mechanisms for crediting authors for individual posts and utilizing “author pages” where you can view an entire author’s work on that site, and I’m wondering if there is a way to do something similar for editors.

I’d like to implement something on the site that allows us to efficiently credit our editor(s) for each post they edit, without us heavily to manually just type in their credit at the bottom of each post.

Sometimes it’s not just the one editor doing all of the editing either, something myself or the other writer will step in and edit each other’s work if need be. I’d like for the new system to be set-up with multiple editors in mind, which will of course be helpful if the site grows as well.

Is there a recommended way I could put together something like this? If there is a way to build an editor selector on posts, and possibly editor pages?

Our site is running on the “[Pro Theme]” if that helps.

Please ask me any questions that you have.

Thanks in advance for anyone that reaches out.
