Hi, I did some testing by running wordpress on my own VPS the first time. A test-Page I created that mainly uses Elementor and Woocommerce. Whenever I refresh the page, the VPS is going up to 94% CPU usage.
Just a discovery I wanted to share.
The site is pretty barebones, no products, no content, no files, just a landing page. Its the crap-tier VPS from IONOS but still…
Do you have a cache plugin? And what are your VPS resources? 1cpu and 1 memory? And what host?
More specifically Elementor than Woocommerce. You need to configure your php-fpm on atleast 512MB PHP memory (this is not related to your VPS server memory of your plan) to have a good start. And assign a good 6 to 12 PHP workers and tuning the Max child settings. Such settings are rarely offered by shared hosting and on VPS it is rarely configured or tuned properly.
If you indeed manage to assign healthy resource to elementor and Woocommerce you will enjoy a good fast website.
