By enabling the “Two-factor Authentication for Admin & Editors Users” your users will receive a QR code to scan upon their next login.
To scan the code they can use the Authenticator application on their phones or if they are on working on a computer without access to a mobile device, they can use the browser extension.
There is no option to send codes via email or sms.
