Hello!
I’m being tasked with bringing our outdated HR systems up to speed. I would really like to find a plugin where users can track their hours and pay.
The thing is we really want to be able to only allow check-ins or check-outs based on geofencing or location so that we know the times are accurate. It cant be IP based because we don’t have wifi or Internet at our locations but we do have cell service.
I’ve been doing research trying to find this or perhaps a combination of two plugins but I am overloaded with spam blog sites ranking HR plugins. Any ideas or solutions y’all might be able to think of?
Im slightly worried that I’ll have to code this myself but I’m not opposed.

Can you explain how you are using WordPress for HR? I may have a recommendation
For HR related stuff people usually go with ERP such as Oracle or PeopleSoft or Sap.
I am just a bit surprised. However in your case you are going to need a lot more than a plugin.
I know you can implement this using the Tray.io platform but they are expensive and Altough they say low code. You need to know how to code
You could try and easier integration model using Zapier, look for geofencing services on Zapier and look at available connections.
You can connect the service to your WordPress site
For Time Tracking, I would use Formidable Forms combined with ACF Pro and both plugins integrate very nicely with Zapier
