Hey everyone, I’m early in my research for setting up a forum but would like some recommendations and opinions.
I’m interested in building a WP based member site and I’m also considering adding a paid forum aspect to it. I do see there are a few plugins available that can be setup to do this but I was wondering if there are examples of hugely successful forums that are based on any of the available forum plugins for WP.
Main concerns are speed and not bloating the install to too many plugins. Is the latter a concern with a robust enough server setup?
Just wondering what some of forum stats are like for the larger installs. Mainly looking for a good idea of cost and requirements.
