If you change the numbers in the database (the IDs), then all related data will be wrong. Which includes predictions from your players, and maybe some custom rankings if you have them. In other words: I wouldn’t recommend updating the ID’s in the database for a running competition.
If only the titles are off (e.g. “Winner match 39”), then simply fix the names of the virtual team to match your IDs.
