Expired Certificate | WordPress.org

[ad_1]

@okayaevpvtltd Where did you purchase your SSL certificate? A certificate is usually purchased for a year. Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates are valid for 90 days. 5 months is not a common period in my experience.

If you purchased your certificate with your hosting company, I would recommend to contact them about it. It should normally auto renew, so that’s an issue in itself.

Please note: as you are referring to “purchased”, I’ve assumed you didn’t use the built in free Let’s Encrypt certificate generator in Really Simple SSL. These are Let’s Encrypt certificates, so will also have an expiration of 90 days.

Hi Rogier. I continued with the on-page UPGRADE to PRO option for Really Simple SSL. Subscribed for a year, so this really caught me off-guard.

@okayaevpvtltd as SSL certificate generation is already included in the free plugin, the pro plugin does not include SSL certificate generation.
