UPDATED AGAIN BELOW: I’ve seen various methods for getting facebook to use the desired image as the thumbnail for a wordpress post but they are convoluted or involve installing a plugin. On my other sites this has simply worked. But on this post on my newest site, facebook isn’t using the featured image and is only using the site logo. Any ideas? Thanks!

Not sure why that impacted it. I was getting the error that OG:Image wasn’t explicitly stated in facebook debugger. Ollie is otherwise nice looking. I’ll have to doctor up the default theme into something good looking~~.
UPDATE 2: It went back to not using the featured image and using the debugger still gives me the “The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.” [https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/?q=https%3A%2F%2Froute11news.com%2F2023%2F08%2F30%2Fhighlights-13th-annual-middletown-va-car-truck-and-tractor-show%2F])
