Fatal error after messing up a snippet, even after deleting from database

This is where we are deep into my WordPress ignorance. I screwed up a snippet such that when activating it, my WP is hosed by a fatal/critical error. Not even WPCode’s helpful thing where it can catch certain errors and deactivate the snippet handled this.

But I found the snippet in question and deleted it from the database. Is there something else in the database that needs to be deleted, too, in order for my WordPress to come back to life?
