Hello r/Wordpress!
I have recently experienced some issues with my featured images. At the bottom of most of my pages, I have a “Read more” section with 6 other recommended pages for my users. I’m using a plugin to change the Featured Image to an external image (this should not be the issue).
However, everytime I make changes to my page in Elementor and press “Update”, the Featured Image is being replaced by my header image (the first image on the page). I have removed the Featured Image countless times from the “Edit page” section of WP, and once I press update, the issue is fixed.
But I would have to do this manually every single time I make a change to my page…
So has anyone experienced something similar to this, or have any idea of how to make wordpress NOT set the featured image every single time?
