Featured image wrong size

[ad_1]

Hello!

Could you help with this one, please?

I’ve manually migrated my website uploads to a new server, also changing the website theme.

However, the migrated featured images, inside the posts, are with the wrong size. The newly uploaded images (not migrated) are working well.

Here is a example (link: [https://migracaoefestivalpt.online/enviadas-mais-de-660-cancoes-na-livre-submissao-do-festival-da-cancao-2023/]) ).

As you can see in the image below, instead the main featured image size, the post is returning the 300×300 thumbnail.

  1. It looks like your images weren’t actually migrated as even removing the 300×300 portion of the image url returns a 404 meaning even the original uploaded image doesn’t exist on the server. Can you verify that you did in fact upload the images where they should be?

You mention you also changed themes, if you changed themes most likely the theme isn’t looking for the sizes you previously had and instead looking for it’s own custom sizes. If you manually uploaded the files, you may be out of luck, however you can still try running the “Regenerate Thumbnails” plugin to regenerate all of the image sizes your current theme needs.
