Features Images Issue

Hi all! I co-own an online music publication, and we use WordPress. Up until about 3 weeks ago, any features images would always show up whenever sharing the link on Facebook. Now all of a sudden, the images aren’t loading, so the article looks “blank” on Facebook.

We use a basic plan, and have never used any plugins before, nor can we use plugins because we’d have to update to another plan, but anything I’m seeing says the only fix is to use an SEO plug in, but that can’t be the only fix.

Any help would be appreciated!
