Sorry to hear you where unable to update the plugin. What version where you updating from? And are you updating the Google only or e-commerce version?
2.35.00 google only
Update is possible ! Only the notice is shown in every tab (Beschreibung installation Änderungsprotokoll FAQ)
Could you send a screenshot? I cannot replicate the same issue.

This image you get to see when you have the premium plugin installed and click the “view details” link. You can ignore that totaly, the plugin will work without issues and will not have any problem updating.
Nevertheless it is an confusing image and I will have a look at and make sure it changes to the correct one.
