Hey @oestersund, not everything is a coffee question haha, but why I asked for this is that is a kind of customisation that is for the use of one person/website. If I would do this everytime I get a layout/style question I would spend of lot of my time, and in the beginning I did. Lots of times without even a thank you, once I had given the css code, I never heard back.
But this is a very good question. At the moment, Name Directory is aimed to be very very very simple and because filters/categories can get really complicated, I worked a bit differently. Name Directory has the ability to create multiple directories. So it is exacly like you suggested, at this moment you make more directories, where every directory has one subject.
I know this doesn’t help you directly, but hopefully it helps understand where it comes from.

no problem, I understand that this would probably impact the data model. For the time being, I will survive with combining 3 instances 🙂

Yes, of course I will. Always in the changelog and if there is something very very important, I’ll anounce it in a banner in the WP-admin 🙂
