Hi,
I’m new to WordPress and WooComm and set up my webshop at bornefysioterapi.dk. The shop and its payment gateway are in test mode right now as I am testing the customer experience like this: I buy my first product on the page and once the (test-)payment succeeds, I am already logged in. I also receive an email that I should set my first password. Following that link, I end up on the forgot-password page (still being logged in). Now I type in my password (twice) and hit enter. I receive a message that my password was reset and it appears that I have been logged out, too.
All the above is expected, but here it gets weird: if I now log in with my fresh credentials, I am immediately taken back to the login page with no error message, but the same message again that my password was reset. If I log in once more (same credentials), I’m taken to the my-account page.
Any idea, why I have to log on twice? I can reproduce this over and over with new users across Chrome, Firefox and Edge and with all cache-plugins disabled and custom CSS removed (so I’m fairly certain, I should see any error messages, if there were any).
I really hope, somebody can provide a pointer as what I can try to remove this behaviour, as I’m afraid it’ll confuse my new customers and they’ll send me plenty emails about this.
Thanks a lot in advance!
Uwe
