Hello , I have been working as a software dev for a few years now outside collage , I just got let go from the first post-collage job I had and agreed to help my local Saturday MTG card shop re-design their WordPress website.
I'm very new to WordPress and I primarily use react to code anything HTML related. I'm trying to sort out if the issue I'm having Is from my lack of WordPress knowledge / skill or my "hosting" setup , I figured start on the WordPress side first.
I got WordPress running on Xampp quickly , I am using the elementor plugin to build pages as well. I published my home page after learning WordPress enough and now I'm trying to get an update to the store owner. I am using packetriot to create a tunnel which was a free option I found since I'm also working for free at the moment. I can only get packet riot to display a purple page displaying "Pardon our dust! We're working on something amazing — check back soon!" and I'm unsure if this is due to something I'm not aware of with WordPress or If I need to look at my packet riot configuration again / look for other ways with the store owner to get site updates that we may then need to negotiate hosting options or screen sharing options of some kind
