Font size rem / em for accessibility

Dear WebFactory team,

Thank you for your wonderful plugin. I much appreciate it.

I have two accessibility related issues to report.

  1. Currently, font sizes in the design settings are set to px values, there is no option to choose rem or em. Visitors, who use assistive technology to zoom in, can’t change that font size on their screen. This is a classic accessibility issue.
  2. I would love to turn on your “show the love” section, but the font size is also not suitable for accessibility. It would be great if we could adjust that!

With all the legislation in the US and now also the European Accessibility Act (EAA) being enforced in June 2025, these things are super important.

With a smile from Germany,

Anne

PS On my site I have overridden your CSS so font-sizes are in rem. But I’m not sure if everyone knows how to do that. Having it in the basic settings would be great. And even better, if you would give a px value choice, but would output the CSS in rem. That way, less technical savvy users can’t go wrong.
