For the hobbyist – blog, opinion and basic “hello world” stuff with no real concern over SEO, what should I use? I work in IT professionally, so I’m OK with sorting out hosting, domains and what have you. I’ve just never had any real involvement (read: none) with WP, so I’m a total n00b.
I just want a web site where i can have a personal rant, give an opinion, exist on the Internet, troll, and whatever else I feel like, without much effort. I’m sh\*t at design, and my content will be pants mostly.
Really don’t know which way to move in terms of site builders, themes, plug-ins and what have you. I would prefer drag and drop, but the cost of site builders and themes is making this less attractive.
I like to learn new stuff, so throwing it out there; don’t bite me, just a hobbyist n00b looking for some direction.
