Thanks for your message. Unfortunately, Vik Booking does not support “empty” rates, I’m sorry. Your listings/room-types base rates must be defined in the page Rates Table and they must be greater than zero.
You should actually disable the booking process if you didn’t want to show or define any rates, and use just the Rooms List/Room Details pages (Shortcodes) where guests can use the booking inquiries form (Request Information).
What would be possible instead, is to set up the booking process with no payment collection. With the free version the status of all reservations is automatically set to Confirmed (rooms are occupied immediately), but with the Pro version you can set up some payment options that won’t actually involve any transaction, and you can manage the status to be applied to new bookings (Pending for manual approval or Confirmed).
Instead, when online payment methods through credit cards are enabled, guests will see their bookings as “Pending” (Waiting for the payment), and if the transaction goes through, the status will be automatically changed to “Confirmed”, and the room(s) booked will be occupied for the requested dates.
