I’m not a dev, though I can get into & tweak code sometimes where needed, esp. CSS. (Easy to find examples…)
I also don’t build sites commercially – I’ve maintained WP sites a lot, and use WP and Elementor Pro / Oxygen for some personal sites, but they’re REALLY basic.
That said, ***I never really learned how to use WP itself***. For what my needs are, I feel I may be able to do most of what I am doing in Elementor or Oxygen without the extra weight.
A few things I currently use plugins for:
\- Setting service appointments (Amelia, paid)
\- Filterable Portfolio (Elementor only, Filterable Gallery, Essential Addons, free version)
\- Form submission + spam protection
\——-
I know there are lots of other things available, such as Gutenberg, and of course there may be non-WP-based solutions too.
(I kinda miss the days of Adobe GoLive…)
Any suggestions appreciated.
TIA
