The “IF” operation implemented by the plugin runs on the client-side (Javascript programming language) and not on the server-side (PHP programming language). So, I do not understand what you mean by “A simple IF statement did not work”.
Could you please describe the PHP8 compatibility error and the issue with the IF operation?
