Free WordPress – Password protection

[ad_1]

Hello, I am making a website for my wedding. Just a general information, and then sharing photos. As it is just for this use, I don’t really want to use a subscription for it. However, I would like to use a password protection. Is it possible to make somehow without a plug-in?

  1. Your hosting should have a password protection. For any hosting I had, I seen it for individual folders/subdomains but never tried the whole site.

Why don’t you want a plugin?

You could make your whole site private. Anyways, I am assuming you want ONE password for everyone, not one password for your mother-in-law, one for your father-in-law, one for each sibling of yours, etc…correct?
