Hi Everyone,
My relative has a marketing business and has a bunch of clients who need basic assistance with their websites. Apparently alot of the clients need small adjustments to be made (add a pre-written blog post for them, update links, update contact pages, etc) and they need someone who can make these changes for them. My relative suggested getting a business license and then charging each customer like $50-$100 per month for an hour of work where I make all the adjustments they need.
I have very little experience with web development but editing existing wordpress sites sounds pretty easy to me. I'm also a network engineer and I know python, so the technical side of things don't seem too difficult.
Has anyone done this sort of thing before? It sounds like it's too good to be true so I'm just wondering if there's anything I should know ahead of time before agreeing to all of this. I'm afraid the customers are going to think I can build custom web apps for them and so it's gonna be awkward when I tell them we're constrained to templates and plugins lol.
Any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated
