Go to SETTINGS => READING and under “Your homepage displays”, select “A Static Page”, and then select the page that you want to appear on your homepage from the dro-down menu.
@addweb-solution-pvt-ltd: Note that WordPress.com admin menus are not always the same as self-hosted WordPress (aka WordPress.org) admin menus. So sending people to WordPress.com help articles can often cause even more confusion when the user cannot find the navigation path described in the article. Eg, standard WordPress.org users do not have the “My Sites” menu mentioned in the article you provided.
