I am a fullstack dev with more than 5 years of experience starting with wordpress. I have tested some page builders but hardly can get the concepts right, because there are page builders as plugins, as themes and both. What confuses me the most is if you throw gutenberg into the whole page builder topic, because it also have some third party tools that mimic page builders.
Previously I have validated webflow but I ditched it because I was not able to create user authentications, user content, internationalization without paying *+$$ / Month*, which sucked.
So I gave wordpress a shot and after days I have figured out that I want to use gutenberg only for client handoff, comparable to weblfows client functions, where the clients can make changes to text, swap images and create CMS entries nothing really more. A big plus would be if my clients could also make new pages but instead of posting only rich text, reuse sections I have already created, that would set webflow completely back to its corner for me.
From all page builders I have tested I only consider bricks builder and themeco pro as good. I would like to know how I can declare sections in these builders or similar once as gutenberg blocks, where my clients can only change things that I define. My goal would be that I create the full website in a page builder and after finishing it defining some sections as “dynamically reusable” with passable properties.
Digging deeper into wordpress and its possibilities I have also found crokoblock. It is hard for me to fully understand what I can achieve with it, but I assume I would be able to create some MVP Apps for my clients without much coding, which would be a gamechanger if the next online marketing coach comes around the corner.
If you can tell me anything about I have mentioned I would be really happy to get some insights from actual people solving problems instead of watching the next ‘let’s create a header’ youtube video.

*What tools do I need to create fast and flexible pages that my clients can elaborate on after handoff. And which addition is required to create APPs for that stack, thinking about authentication, user profiles & content.*
