ga4 not recording data | WordPress.org

[ad_1]

Glad to help.

Here is how it works:

  • The plugin does only one thing: it adds the required tracking code to your web pages
  • Literally everything else: all of the page crawling, data collecting, statistics, and so forth — that is entirely up to Google.

That in mind, I checked your site and the plugin is doing its part by adding the required tracking code. So assuming that the tracking ID is correct, the tracking code is all good.

One thing I did notice is that the pages also include (incorrect) tracking code for Google Tag Manager, and possibly other analytics code. When there is more than one tracking script on a page, it can cause issues with crawling and collecting of data.

Best advice is to check your pages and make sure they follow Google guidelines regarding Analytics, multiple tracking codes, and so forth. To help with this, you may want to reach out to Google support, they will know best how to help with their data-collection service.

I hope this helps, let me know if I can provide any further information.

how do i remove other gtm codes? i have no plugins for it. where do i find these codes in file manager?

I don’t know, every site and setup is different. You will need to ask your web developer or provider, they will know best which steps to take.
