That’s pretty dependent upon how you build out your new site, which theme you use & what options are incorporated into that for doing a Lightbox gallery behavior. If not native to the theme you use there are plenty of plugins to choose from
Try with Spectra blocks. They have a gallery including a Lightbox and many additional options. Try to test and see if they suit you.
Yes WordPress has too many galleries plugins to choose from.
