The reason why it is done that way is because it is a gift registry so by default the desired quantity should be in line with what can actually be purchased. However there are two ways to enable an unlimited desired quantity.
- Allow backorders for the product.
- Use the filter nmgr_quantity_input_max to set the maximum quantity you want or simply set it to empty for an unlimited quantity.
