I wrote a blog with [wordpress.com](https://wordpress.com) in the early 2010+++

Since then a lot changed. Obviously.

I now would like to create a simple free wordpress.com blog: Landing page, 4-5 Links there to 4-5 further pages. On every of these pages link for contact. Period.

So in my opinion this is a super simple design, but when I started trying … well. A lot changed.

So is there a simple and short introduction how to use the sidebar tools to create such a website/blog? Or can you somehow go back in time there, to have the former appearance for use? 🙂
