I’m linking to several Google Font Families on my website. They display 1:1 correctly on the website frontend, but within the backend editor – they aren’t always correct or even approximate representations of the final result.
This makes it difficult to layout pages and receive an accurate sense of how content will flow for actual users without opening a second browser for previewing 100% of the time.
Is this common? Is this how WordPress Backend treats linked Google Fonts, perhaps?
Your insight is appreciated, thank you ahead of time.

It’s normal if you’re linking to them through the style sheet, as CSS doesn’t tend to show up on the back end unless you’re implementing it within the page builder itself (Gutenberg, Elementor, Etc.).
